INTRODUCTORY LEVEL COURSE
Overview
Featuring a simple new Box Scale method for identifying the correct guitar Scales or Modes during a Chord Progression:
using the E and B strings only
to create melodic lead lines without knowing theory
and no changing of the Scale Position usually
Example of Box Pentatonic Scale Diagram for a music piece commencing with an A Minor Chord.
And using just the name of the first Chord of a piece of music to:
locate the Scale Position of the four Note ‘Box Pentatonic’ Scale for the most important Notes
also identify if any slight modification is required to the Scale Shape during a musical piece for any ‘special’ Major Chords that can be common
More of the Scale is then discovered by adding an extra Note to each string on a fret inside the four Notes of the ‘Box Pentatonic’ Scale by trial and error, based on a simple approach to the Modes.
Example of first Box Mode Scale Diagram for a music piece commencing with an A Minor Chord.
